LOGAN, Utah — Utah State University broke ground Tuesday on a new facility that could change the way we travel in the future.

Researchers at USU want to charge electric cars without wires or electrical outlets. It would be done wirelessly.

The College of Engineering broke ground on a new 4,800-square-foot facility that will allow research engineers and students to test their concepts in a real-world environment, which includes a test track.
